ICBA Honors Scott Valley Bank for Outstanding Community Service

| The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), with 5,000 independent bank members across the nation, named Scott Valley Bank as its top honoree in the asset size category $250 - $500 million for the 2010 ICBA National Community Bank Service Awards. The bank was recognized for its outstanding leadership in community service activities. “ICBA is proud of Scott Valley Bank,” said Jim MacPhee, ICBA chairman and CEO of Kalamazoo County State Bank, Schoolcraft, Michigan. “They are a shining example of the volunteer service community banks all over the country provide every day.”
Scott Valley Bank, headquartered in Yreka, California, was named as a National Award recipient in recognition of its numerous community service activities, and particularly for volunteer employee commitment to those activities. It is clear that bank employees engage in all aspects of the bank’s community service activities throughout the year.
