DELAY ANNOUNCED REGARDING ONLINE BANKING USER ID

Our LOGIN ID conversion testing process uncovered a technical problem that could impact some users.  Therefore, we have delayed the previously scheduled project until we are 100% satisfied with the error resolution.   We will communicate the new schedule to you when it becomes available.  Thank you for your patience.  Please accept our apology for any inconvenience you may have experienced as a result of these pending changes.

Previously scheduled for Wednesday, June 27, 2007, the conversion to a new LOGIN procedure for your Online Banking Services has been temporarily postponed.  Please watch the NEWS icon on our SVB website home page for announcement of the new conversion date.  We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience as a result of this scheduling change.

On the conversion date, the procedure for accessing your Scott Valley Bank Online Banking services will no longer require the use of your Social Security Number.  Effective that date, you will have a new user ID for use in the LOGIN field in the Online Banking sign on icon.

Beginning on the conversion date, you will simply login using the naming convention explained below.  Upon login, you will recognize your existing passmark (image) and then input your current password.  While your current password will remain unchanged, you may, as always, change your password at any time you wish.  (Your password remains case sensitive while your new LOGIN User ID is not case sensitive.)

All of your usual banking history and bill payment information will be converted to your new user ID requiring no action on your part.

For consumers who have previously used their Social Security Number as their LOGIN User ID,  your new user ID will be your last name plus your birth month/month/day/day with no spaces.  Your login is not case sensitive.

Example:
Name = John Doe
Date of Birth = 04/15/1970
User ID =  doe0415

For businesses using their TIN (Taxpayer Identification Number), your new user ID will be the first three letters of your business name + the last four digits of your TIN #.

Example:
Company name = ABC Inc.
TIN = 123456789
User ID =  ABC6789

Once the conversion takes place, should you require assistance with this process, please contact your branch of account during the branch’s normal business hours.  They will have on hand the necessary information to assist you.  Alternatively, you may call (888) 385-7111 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
